Aww, our little man is growing hair in special places and thinking about girls. It’s time for us to sit down and have a special talk with Zac Efron.

The High School Musical cutie pie told USA Today, “I’m at a transition point. My taste is changing. I’m growing up.” This new direction is reflected in his decision to ditch his role in the new Footloose remake.

The 21-year-old actor said of his role in 17 Again, “I saw it as a more complex part that could help me shift into adult material.” He really needs to stop teasing us with all this “adult role” business. It sounds kinky and I have the sneaking suspicions he’s getting our hopes up for nothing.
