The High School Musical star admitted to GQ that he has to got the extra mile during air travel. Zac Efron said that he uses autographed memorabilia to bribe airport security to help him get past the paparazzi when he travels.
“The first time I did it, they weren’t going to let me in. The guy at the gate was like, ‘What are you gonna do for me?’ He’s like, ‘I got kids.’ And I was like, ‘Well, I got a poster in the trunk!’ It’s smart to keep some swag in the trunk, just in case.”
And that, my friends, is exactly why I keep a stick of 8×10 signed glossies in my car. Because you never know when I might one day become famous and need to subsequently run from the paparazzi and I’d like to be prepared for when that happens.
