We listen to a lot of music around the office and we do consider ourselves true pop music fans. These are the songs that Socialite Life currently has on heavy rotation and those we tend to hit the repeat button once they end.
Try and get these songs out of your head. This is our latest Weekly Music Playlist:
"Move On" by Mike Posner. Talk about an earworm and is an extremely emotional song. And the video. You're going to need tissues. It pays tribute to his father who died of brain cancer and his friend, collaborator Avicii, who committed suicide in 2018.
"Hello Happiness" by Chaka Khan. Oh, how I have missed her voice! Chaka still knows how to bring on the funk. The song is all about happy vibes and is just what we need in 2019!
"Juice" by Lizzo. Could this be the song of 2019? Minneapolis rapper/singer Lizzo gives us a funk-pop gem that has a wonderful retro-vibe to it. Put this one on repeat.
"Halfway There" by ROZES. This is the anthem for the 2019 Women's March and boy, does it deliver.
"Only You" by Theophilus London featuring Tame Impala. I am late to the game on this one, but I am addicted. This cover of Steve Monite's synth-disco track is super groovy.
"Bitter End" by Young & Sick. Nick van Hofwegen aka Young & Sick has released this total ray of sunshine. The song is a synth-pop blended with R&B dance music and it will get you dancing.
"No Place" by Backstreet Boys. I'll always have a soft spot in my heart for the Backstreet Boys and this heartwarming song dedicated to the band members significant others delivers an emotional punch.
