Back in June, Kim Kardashian West faced criticism after she announced a line of shapewear called Kimono. She was accused of cultural appropriation for the naming choice, and the mayor of Kyoto, Japan even politely asked her not to trademark “kimono.”
Kim said she would rename the line despite her “really innocent intentions” following the backlash. Now she's finally revealed the new moniker.
“My fans and followers are a huge inspiration to me,” she wrote on Twitter. “I'm always listening to their feedback and opinions, and am so grateful they shared their ideas for a new brand name. After much thought and consideration, I'm excited to announce the launch of SKIMS Solutionwear.”
To coincide with the announcement of the new name, Kim K also told her fans when they can expect to get ahold of the line.
“SKIMS Solutionwear is coming September 10,” she revealed. “I love the idea that the pieces will be the closest thing to someone’s skin, skimming with amazingly soft and supportive fabrics which accentuate the best parts of our bodies.”

Disgraced movie executive Harvey Weinstein pleaded not guilty to two new charges of predatory sexual assault Monday under a new grand jury indictment that will allow an actor he allegedly assaulted in the early ’90s to testify about what prosecutors said is a pattern of sexually criminal behavior.
Annabella Sciorra, best known for her role in The Sopranos, will testify that Weinstein raped her inside her Manhattan apartment in 1993, Manhattan prosecutors said.
In addition to the new charges, Weinstein has already been charged with two counts of predatory sexual assault, one count of criminal sexual act in the first degree, one count of first-degree rape, and one count of third-degree rape.
Weinstein pleaded not guilty to all charges, arguing that all of the sexual acts were consensual.
