Weekly Music Playlist

We listen to a lot of music around the office and we do consider ourselves true pop music fans. These are the songs that Socialite Life currently has on heavy rotation and those we tend to hit the repeat button once they end.

Try and get these songs out of your head. This is our latest Weekly Music Playlist:

1. “I’m So Tired” by Lauv and Troye Sivan.

Heartbreak king Lauv is SO over love songs that he and Troye just want to get out of a party so bad to nurse their broken hearts. This is the collaboration that we’ve been waiting for and it SO delivers.

2. “Swan Song” by Dua Lipa.

The song will be featured in the movie Alita Battle Angel, and Dua will be continuing her streak of pop hits with this percussion-heavy song. Look for people to be randomly shouting out “SWAN” with the next week. The song is that catchy.

3. “What a Time” by Julia Michaels and Niall Horan.

Talk about a lovely pop song. The sing-a-long chorus and the pair’s vocals really make this sone shine. This could definitely be a smash hit.

4. “Change Your Mind” by Tori Kelly.

Kelly returns to pop with an extremely soulful and raw power ballad. She wrote the track with Jimmy Napes who is best known for co-writing the Sam Smith hit “Stay With Me”. This is a gut-punch of a song.

5. “Born Again” by Tiffany Young.

K-Pop star exposes her vulnerable side on this reflective new song. Of the song, Young said, “‘Born Again’ is symbolic of my passion to always fight to grow from these experiences.” Consider me on board to experience her journey.

6. “Love Me Back” by Tove Styrke and Ritual.

Talk about a captivating banger of a chorus. This is one highly addictive pop songs. Even though vocals from Ritual are sparse on the song, they make for a perfect balance to Tove’s emotive performance.

7. “Anxiety” by Julia Michaels and Selena Gomez.

Who knew that a song that shines a light on mental illness could be so damn catchy? Michaels’ raspy voice and Gomez’s airy vocals make a perfect pairing on the reflective-yet-upbeat tune.
