We reported a few days ago that Pride Live has announced its fourth annual Stonewall Day, a global campaign to elevate awareness and support the legacy of the Stonewall riots and LGBTQ+ activism. Adam Lambert, on behalf of his Feel Something Foundation, will host a virtual Stonewall Day 2021 celebration on Sunday, June 6th, where he will curate a diverse group of musical performances and presentations.

Lambert recently revealed to Ryan Seacrest that he's working on a forthcoming musical based off a true story featuring that will feature an array of collaborations.

“I’ve been focusing on a couple of projects that I probably wouldn’t have had the attention span for otherwise,” Adam shared. “I’ve been writing a lot of music via Zoom, … but it’s for a musical actually. I’m developing a musical in a different way with a lot of people from the pop world, a lot of collaborations, it’s very exciting.”

Adam couldn’t dish too much but shared it’s based off a true story.

“We’re just looking at music right now,” he added. “The story is based on a guy that really lived so it’s a real-life story, but it’s a guy that you probably don’t know which is very exciting. But, that’s all I can say right now.”

Plus, we are hoping that Lambert follows through on this idea. During a virtual appearance on The Kelly Clarkson Show this week, the host gushed: “Look how good you look! Are you ever going to come out with a make-up line? Because you do your make-up so well.”

He replied: “I would love to; I think that would be really fun. I was in theatre, so [make-up] was a part of getting ready for the show. I just loved getting to sit in front of the mirror and transform my face and cover up all of my freckles at the time, because I was ashamed for them. I wish I had them today.”
