10 Times Céline Dion Gave Us FASHION on Instagram

I’m not a fan of the 50-year-old Canadian chanteuse’s music, but I will admit that “Misled” is an underrated 90s classic. This is not an arguable point.

One thing I do love about Céline Dion is her sometimes kooky, sometimes awe-inspiring parade of fashions. In 2017, Vogue famously showcased the singer in a stunning shoot during Paris Fashion Week.

Fortunately for us, Céline’s Instagram page serves as an ongoing Fashion Week, as she shares some of the most over-the-top looks. Here are some of our favorites.

Earlier this month, our French-Canadian songbird gave us a special Valentine, perched on a Parisian balcony in a gorgeous black sheath surrounded by a cotton candy cloud of red tulle. This dramatic ensemble was accessorized with movie star shades and glamorous black gloves. Along with this striking image, Celine captured the shot by simply writing, “Souvenir de Paris.”

Here’s Céline serving up some gendarme realness in an oversized sweater, jaunty cap with a veil and studded tights that I don’t think are meant for sitting. And for the perfect look, the perfect caption, “Au revoir Paris… À bientôt!”

Céline is the queen of Sin City, and she has been named the “most profitable music act in Vegas since Elvis Presley”. She makes an estimated $500,000 per show and her latest residency at Caesar’s Palace wraps up in June. With all that dough, the singer can spring for some haute couture and here, she shows off a stunning ensemble at the High Roller ferris wheel in the heart of the strip. From her bias-cut leather mini dress to her fringed, knee-high boots, this is a fashion gamble that paid off.

She may be known for her powerful, romantic ballads, but Céline is a rocker girl at heart. Posing next to a poster for Bohemian Rhapsody, she unleashes her rock ‘n’ roll side with tight black pleather pants and a tye-dye top. She is the champion, my friends…of fashion!

She may have hit the mid-century mark, but Céline can still rock a swimsuit like nobody’s business. She used a hotel pool in Singapore for a late-night audition for Sports Illustrated. I love the back of this suit. It’s basic black, but there’s nothing basic about our girl here.

If you’re wondering if anyone could out-do Katy Perry on the fashion front, wonder no more. The California Girl and the Canadian Lady met up in Australia and Katy’s C3P0-inspired outfit was no match for Ms. Dion, resplendent in a sequined mini-dress with a space comic-inspired print. Love the crimped hair too!

Céline modeled this red-hot look during her Live 2018 tour in Australia. Obviously, picking out these fabulous frocks can be exhausting, so the singer took a little repose, but made sure to lounge fashionably. The red plaid print dress is from Calvin Klein’s 205W39NYC line – and apparently Céline could only afford one sleeve. But I am here for the boots. These show stoppers are from Jimmy Choo and the over-the-knee stiletto boots are made of satin and encased in clear plastic. There are no words. Well, wait, there is one, from the lady herself…”Fierce.”

No matter where she is, and in this case, she’s in Bangkok, there’s always time to strike a pose. Céline is all business in this striking yellow pantsuit from Maison Rabih Kayrouz. Knowing we’d be green with envy about her fashion choices, she accessorized with gorgeous green pumps from Prada and a green Chloé bag. A signature sleek bun and celebrity-worthy shades complete the look.

Céline is such a fashionista that she can make anyplace her runway…like this actual runway. The category is “snakeskin fantasy” and she is serving it up like a boss. The jacket is from Rochas Paris, the crave-worthy boots are from Balmain and the bag is from the singer’s Céline Dion Collection. This look is just so s-s-s-s-exy.

No one can make “casual” look more stylish than our girl. She’s giving us #girlboss vibes with a loose fitting pair of black faux leather Givenchy overalls over a white Céline blouse. She accessorized this look with sky high stilettos by Giuseppe Zanotti for Kanye West and a pair of huge, blinged-out sunglasses by Gucci – and no “boss” would be complete without a Hermès bag, right? You keep doing you, Céline. We love it!
