Hold onto your feathered hair, reality TV fanatics, because Lisa Kudrow‘s iconic Valerie Cherish is gracing our screens once more! That’s right, The Comeback is making its third and final return to HBO and HBO Max in 2026. Yes, it’s been over a decade since we last saw Valerie’s delightful struggles, but as co-creators Lisa Kudrow and Michael Patrick King so perfectly put it, “Valerie Cherish has found her way back to the current television landscape. Neither of us are surprised she did.” Honestly, neither are we!

Production kicks off this summer, with fan favorites Dan Bucatinsky, Laura Silverman, and Damian Young all set to reprise their roles alongside our dear Valerie. HBO’s Amy Gravitt declared, “No matter what the industry throws at her, Valerie Cherish is a survivor.” And let’s be real, she’s survived it all – from “Room and Bored” to “Seeing Red,” Valerie’s resilience (and penchant for capturing every cringe-worthy moment on camera) is truly inspiring.

So, get ready for one last dose of Valerie’s wonderfully awkward journey through the wild world of Hollywood. We’re sure it’ll be, as Valerie herself might say, “Well, I’m so excited about it!” (Even if she has to do a hundred takes to get it just right.)
