Speculations about the next James Bond were stirred up when the British tabloid The Sun released an article claiming that the role of 007 had been offered to 33-year-old British actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson.
According to an unidentified insider, The Sun stated that Aaron has been offered the role of Bond, and it is up to him whether he wants to take it or not. The official proposal has been presented, and they are currently awaiting his response.
Amid years of anticipation over who will succeed Daniel Craig as Bond in the next Bond film, there have been ongoing rumors about Taylor-Johnson being considered for the iconic role.
According to BBC News, a “production insider” has stated that there is no validity to the speculations surrounding Taylor-Johnson’s potential role.
Other performers who have been considered for the James Bond role include Henry Cavill, a British actor, and Cillian Murphy, an Irish actor who recently received an Oscar for Best Actor.
According to the BBC, Pierce Brosnan, the former Bond, gave Cillian Murphy a positive assessment, saying that he would be an excellent choice for the role of James Bond in “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.” For many years, there have been rumors about Idris Elba being considered as the first black James Bond.
