During her Las Vegas residency on Saturday night, Adele did not hold back when an audience member shouted, “Pride sucks!”

Captured on video, the Grammy-winning singer retorted, “Did you come to my fucking show and just say that Pride sucks? Are you fucking stupid? Don’t be so fucking ridiculous. If you have nothing nice to say, shut up, alright?”

The incident occurred on June 1, the first day of Pride Month, an annual celebration dedicated to the LGBTQ+ community.

Adele has been known for her candid moments during her “Weekends With Adele” residency, which kicked off in November 2022. In August, she paused a performance to call out security for “bothering” a fan, and the previous month, she addressed the troubling trend of audience members throwing objects at performers.

“Have you noticed how people are like, forgetting fucking show etiquette at the moment? People just throwing shit on stage, have you seen them?” she said. “I fucking dare you. Dare you to throw something at me and I’ll fucking kill you.”
