Ryan Murphy took to his Instagram on Wednesday (July 7, 2021) to reveal the star-studded cast for his upcoming American Horror Stories series.
Very few details about the show have been revealed, but Murphy tweeted out a brief explanation about the series.
“We are doing 16 one hour standalone episodes delving into horror myths, legends, and lore…” Ryan tweeted. “Any of these episodes will feature AHS stars you know and love. More to follow…”
Among those who are announced as the cast members are John Carol Lynch as Larry Bitterman, Naomi Grossman as Rabid Ruth, Billie Lourd as Liv Whitley and Matt Bomer as Michael, plus, newbies Aaron Tveit as Adam, Gavin Creel as Troy, Kaia Gerber as Ruby, Sierra McCormick as Scarlett, Ashley Martin Carter as Rowena, Paris Jackson as Maya, Belissa Escobedo as Shanti, Rhenzy Feliz as Chad, Madison Bailey as Kelley, Kyle Red Silverstein as Quinn, Amy Grabow as Tipper Gore, Virginia Gardner as Bernadette, and Danny Trejo… as Santa Claus.
Previously announced, were the “fantastic four” that Murphy posted about a few weeks earlier, we can now confirm that Dyllon Burnside will play James, Nico Greetham is Zinn, Charles Melton is Wyatt and Kevin McHale is Barry.
Matt Bomer tweeted, “Excited to be back on @AHSFX! See you July 15th on @hulu! #FXonHulu #AHStories.”
Apparently, there are still more stars to make an appearance on the show. “And this isn't even the half of it,” the official Twitter account of AHS, wrote. “Take a peek at some of the American Horror Stories cast. The brand new anthology series begins streaming July 15 only on #FXonHulu. #AHStories.”
