Armie Hammer has exited his in-patient treatment center for drugs, abuse and sex issues after numerous sexual assault and abuse allegations were made against him earlier this year.

As OK! previously reported in June, the embattled actor checked into a Florida program one month prior, as his career and personal life began to crumble in light of the shocking claims. Hammer reached out to his estranged wife, Elizabeth Chambers, in May, asking for help and insisting he was ready to seek treatment.

“I can confirm that Mr. Hammer has left the treatment facility and is doing great,” Hammer’s attorney confirmed in a statement to People, shared on Monday, December 13. However, the lawyer did not specify when the 35-year-old actually checked out.

Hammer’s fall from grace began in February, when Instagram account House of Effie posted screenshots, which have not been verified, of messages said to be from Hammer about his alleged dark and twisted sexual fantasies. One month later, the woman who was believed to be behind the account, Effie, came forward and accused him of sexual assault.

“On April 24, 2017, Armie Hammer violently raped me for over four hours in Los Angeles,” Hammer’s alleged victim said during a press conference in March. “During which he repeatedly slapped my head against a wall bruising my face. He also committed other acts of violence against me to which I did not consent.”

She insisted she feared for her life during the alleged attack, as she recalled: “I tried to get away but he wouldn’t let me. I thought that he was going to kill me.”

After her press conference, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed Hammer was being probed for an investigation opened on February 3. OK! learned earlier this month that the investigation into the rape allegations has concluded.

It remains unclear whether the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office will charge Hammer, as an insider previously speculated the case against the Hollywood star wasn’t strong enough.

Meanwhile, Hammer has maintained his innocence, with his attorney declaring his client and Effie’s encounter was, “completely consensual, discussed and agreed upon in advance, and mutually participatory.”

Despite his team insisting he’s done nothing wrong, several other women spoke up after the DMs were leaked earlier this year, with Hammer’s alleged victims detailing their own horrifying experiences with the father-of-two.

In light of his scandalous year, Hammer was dropped by his talent agency, William Morris Endeavor, and lost his agent. He was also replaced in two of his upcoming projects: Shotgun Wedding and The Offer.
