The Off Campus breakout has teamed up with TRESemmé for a new hair commercial that finds him showing off far more than just product-perfect waves. The steamy spot, part of the brand’s “Hot Curl Summer” campaign, catches the actor in the shower with the camera lingering on his famously ripped physique before the focus shifts to his signature bounce.

The campaign celebrates the expansion of TRESemmé’s Bouncy Curls Collection, and Cameli is the face of it. “Having curly hair can be complicated,” he confessed. “Which is why I’m happy to be partnering with TRESemmé because their line of Bouncy Curls is super efficient, super lightweight, no frizz, no crunch, and you can define and set those curls.”
The anthem video, titled “Hot Curl Summer, Verified,” premiered Wednesday (July 22, 2026) and follows Cameli through a relatable scramble: the guy who insists he doesn’t need to borrow anyone’s styling routine until he’s running late and a friend hands him TRESemmé’s three-step lineup — Defining Cream, Defining Mousse and Air Dry Foam.

Cameli’s curls weren’t always his calling card. “My hair was straight as a kid. I was a little nerdy kid with glasses and a straight parted short haircut,” he said. “As I got older and started growing my hair out more, my hair started getting wavy and then curly, and I was like, ‘Oh god, I don’t know how to do this.'”
He’s since embraced the chaos, telling fans, “I’ve definitely noticed the internet talking about my hair a lot lately — I’ve seen all your edits!”

TRESemmé North America marketing head Yoni Klein said the collection “was inspired by listening to the unmet needs of the wavy hair community,” adding that customers with 2B-3B curls “were still struggling to find products that weren’t too heavy for their texture.”
Cameli will keep the content coming all summer, with more product shots and curl transformations promised across his social feeds.
