Regarding that notable jumpsuit, viewers might recall the moment when Benson had to make an adjustment to his attire (during live broadcast) due to its restrictive nature.
Later, Benson addressed the situation on Instagram Stories, stating, “Sorry for adjusting my jumpsuit so aggressively on stage tonight that thing was extremely restricting in certain areas.”
In his conversation with Access Hollywood at the Grammys, Benson described his nomination as feeling like “a fever dream.”
“It is so psycho,” he said. “I went to do rehearsals and just looking at the little name cards of who’s gonna be watching. No. This suit is gonna have piss all over it dude, I am literally just…it’s crazy. It’s crazy.”
He continued, “man it’s the ultimate honor to be here tonight,” reflecting that the past year taught him “it’s so easy to get caught up in what everyone else thinks about you, because I’m being vulnerable and putting myself out into the world for other people to judge, but really as long as I love the music I’m making I think that’s where I’m going to find the most success and I’m going to try to carry that on into 2025.”
