Beyoncè‘s Super Bowl commercial for Verizon not only captured our attention but also left us with a thrilling announcement of her new album.

In the commercial, the Grammy-winning artist portrayed a variety of characters, from a Lemonade stand vendor to a BOTUS candidate and even a space warrior. She then disclosed that Renaissance Act II, her eighth studio album, will be available for fans to listen to on Friday, March 29th.

The preview of the album suggested a country twist, diverging from the dance-pop style of the previous act, and included a sneak peek of her new single “Texas Hold ‘Em.” Currently, “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages” are the confirmed tracks, both accessible on major streaming platforms, while the complete track list is still to come.

Beyoncè's previous album, Renaissance Act I, released in July 2022, which was dominated by dance, disco, pop, and house music, won her the Best Dance/Electronic Album Grammy in 2023, making her the artist with the most Grammy wins ever.

Furthermore, her Renaissance World Tour, which took place in the summer of 2023, made over $579 million, becoming the eighth highest-grossing tour of all time.
