Hollywood heartthrob and A Star Is Born leading man Bradley Cooper is turning heads again, but this time, it's within the walls of his own home. Cooper unabashedly embraces a clothing-optional philosophy, a trait he’s inherited straight from the familial tree.
In a recent tell-all on the Armchair Expert podcast aired on Feb. 26, 2024, Cooper threw open the doors to his personal life, revealing that his comfort with nudity is not a newfound Hollywood fad but a legacy passed down by his father. With Dax Shepard and Kristen Bell confessing their own household's laissez-faire approach to nudity, Bradley was quick to join the chorus, admitting, “My dad was always nude.”
But there's an intriguing twist in the Cooper household saga—Bradley’s evolved tradition. The acclaimed actor, now a father to 6-year-old Lea, whom he shares with supermodel ex Irina Shayk, has engineered a new family custom—open-door bathroom policy.
Cooper credits his New York living experience for this shift, which was a marked departure from his upbringing wherein certain privacies were observed. The city, known for its compact living quarters, inadvertently taught him the art of merging personal spaces.
“The bathtub and toilet and bed are all in the same room,” he humorously notes, underscoring the practical blend of necessity and intimacy in his daily life.
In a setup where space and privacy are luxuries, the Cooper residence thrives on openness and connection. “We talk where I'm on the toilet, she's in the bathtub,” says Bradley, painting a picture of their unique bonding rituals. This uninhibited ethos doesn’t just stop at lifestyle choices; it’s a gateway to more profound revelations for Cooper.
Diving into heartfelt territories, Cooper, who is currently linked with model Gigi Hadid, credits his daughter with anchoring him amidst life’s tumultuous waves. Having battled addiction in the past, fatherhood offers him a renewed sense of purpose and direction.
“Honestly, I’m not sure I’d be alive if I wasn’t a dad,” Cooper admits. This bond isn’t just about mutual survival—it's about laying down a strong foundation for Lea, ensuring her path in life is as enriched and stabilized as possible.
