No, Britney Spears hasn’t expanded her family with a new addition, despite what fans might think.
While the pop icon mentioned “a beautiful baby girl” called Lennon London Spears in her July 13 Instagram post, TMZ has learned that Britney was just having some playful fun and hasn’t actually adopted a daughter.
The post appears to be nothing more than a lighthearted joke. After all, the “Gimme More” singer—who shares Sean Federline, 20, and Jayden Federline, 18, with former spouse Kevin Federline—included three winking emojis after her adoption “announcement.” Playing along with her own joke, Britney wrote, “Lennon today has on adorable dress!!! It says I’m NEW HERE!!!” with laughing emojis.
She also joked about relocating to Italy—another statement accompanied by winking emojis.
The rest of Britney’s caption described the video she shared, showing the 43-year-old performer dancing while wearing a pink swimsuit, paired with a black brimmed hat and matching knee-high boots.
“I haven’t worked out in years so I put this little pink one piece on and PLAYED,” she wrote. “This is 30 seconds of my random silly workout!!”
That was one exhausting Instagram post.
