Cara Delevingne is opening up about her special bond with Taylor Swift, revealing they were once roomies for a short period. During a chat with Nikki Glaser for Interview Magazine, the conversation took an interesting turn. When speaking to the comedian – who made waves with her memorable roast of Tom Brady at Netflix's special this year – Delevingne was curious about who else Glaser would love to roast.
“I mean, as a Swiftie, I would love a roast of Taylor Swift,” the 2025 Golden Globes host said. “But I actually wouldn't because I would be angry if anyone was really mean.”
The model chimed in, expressing confidence in Swift's ability to handle it. “The thing about Taylor, though, is I've seen her do a speech at someone's wedding before, and it was a roast,” she said. “She's one of the funniest, most clever people. Anyone could roast her easily, but at the same time, she could fuck everyone up so hard,” she continued, mentioning that their time as roommates would give her plenty of material.
The pair became roommates when Delevingne was navigating through “a really horrible breakup.” “We're very different people,” the Carnival Row actress shared. “She's very homely, because she looked after me so well, but we got into some — not trouble, but I definitely took her for a bit of a wild ride. Just to get her to blush would be great.”
