Colton Underwood was ready to come out years ago but something stopped him from doing so.
On Thursday (May 13), The Bachelor alum spoke with Variety and revealed that he originally wanted to come out in 2014 when he was drafted in the NFL. That year, Michael Sam came out, the first openly gay drafted player in the league. Underwood was first signed as a free agent to the San Diego Chargers before being added to the Philidelphia Eagles and then Oakland Raiders practice teams.
