Daniel Radcliffe's "Harry Potter" TV Spin-off Idea Is Actually Really Good

It’s undoubtedly true that we live in a time of reboots — from Kim Possible to Charmed and potentially even Lizzie McGuire — and Harry Potter might just be the next cultural phenomenon to add to the list, per Daniel Radcliffe himself.

In a recent interview with TV Guide to promote his new series Miracle Workers, the 29-year-old actor shared his thoughts about a potential Harry Potter TV reboot — which he and many others deem inevitable.

“I don’t know at this point what would be gained by rebooting it for TV, but that’s not necessarily the goal, I suppose,” Daniel told TV Guide. “I definitely think there will be another version of it within my lifetime. It will be interesting to see. At the moment those films have sort of a sacred varnish on them, but that will be worn away at some point… I’m just intrigued to see when that happens.”
