- Danny Ramirez’s Falcon suit butt went viral from the Doomsday trailer.
- He credits trainer Nick Shimanek and leg day for the viral physique.
- Ramirez discussed the moment at Comic-Con with Entertainment Tonight.
Danny Ramirez is officially the internet’s favorite MCU cheek — and he’s leaning into it.
The actor, who reprises his role as Joaquin Torres/Falcon in Avengers: Doomsday, found himself an unlikely trending topic this week after fans zeroed in on one very specific frame of the new trailer: his backside in the Falcon suit.
Ramirez addressed the viral moment while at San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, July 25, 2026 and he’s taking the attention in stride.
“Shoutout to my trainer, Nick Shimanek, split squats, RDLs. You got to get after it,” he told Entertainment Tonight, crediting the gains to a very specific leg-day regimen.

The 33-year-old said he didn’t even find out about his own viral fame the normal way.
“It was, um, I got sent that early on, and then I saw it on Twitter, and it was unreal,” Ramirez said of watching the reaction snowball online.
As for how he built the physique that launched a thousand tweets, timing had a lot to do with it. Ramirez explained he went straight from prepping for another physically demanding role into Marvel’s ensemble blockbuster.
“I was coming off of prep for a soccer film, and so, there was a big diet shift,” he shared.
That soccer film is Baton, which Ramirez wrote, stars in, and makes his directorial debut with. The project recently scored a partnership with MLS and boasts a stacked cast including Lewis Pullman, Camila Mendes, Becky G, Rosario Dawson, and Diego Calva.
Ramirez isn’t shying away from the moment, either, reportedly laughing off the attention and noting there are worse things to go viral for.
Avengers: Doomsday, directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, hits theaters December 18, 2026.
