Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Denise Richards has come forward with shocking allegations against her husband, Aaron Phypers, claiming he subjected her to severe domestic abuse and made death threats, including causing her multiple concussions.
Court documents obtained by Page Six reveal Richards’ disturbing claims of enduring both physical and emotional abuse throughout her seven-year marriage, detailing incidents of violent attacks targeting her head and face, along with verbal degradation.
“Throughout our relationship, Aaron would frequently violently choke me, violently squeeze my head with both hands, tightly squeeze my arms, violently slap me in my face and head, aggressively slam my head into the bathroom rack, threaten to kill me,” Richards said in court documents.
The 54-year-old actress also alleged that Phypers, who initiated divorce proceedings on July 7, engaged in digital surveillance, hacking into her laptop and phone to monitor her text messages.

“Aaron regularly threatened to ‘break my jaw’ and would cry, beg me to stay, and promise to get help – none of which ever happened,” the actress added.
“Aaron has caused me at least three concussions. Aaron has told me that he has left recording devices to record me while I was alone in hotel rooms and at my townhouses.”
In a particularly disturbing incident on July 4, Richards claims Phypers, 52, spent two hours verbally assaulting her, getting uncomfortably close to her face while hurling degrading profanities, including calling her a “ct, whore, and a piece of st.”
Richards stated, “Aaron’s actions were scaring me to the point that, as with nearly all of Aaron’s abuse of me, I was afraid that Aaron may kill me.”
The Wild Things star revealed she never reported the abuse to authorities because Phypers threatened self-harm if she did so, according to court documents.

Additionally, Richards alleged that Phypers made threats of violence if she contacted police, claiming he possessed “eight unregistered guns and multiple bullet proof vests.”
“He told me multiple times over the course of the last two years that because the guns are unregistered that if he used them no one would be able to track them,” the actress alleged.
A particularly violent incident occurred on January 17, 2022, when Richards claims Phypers struck her left eye with his palm heel, resulting in severe swelling and bruising.
According to Richards, just before the attack, Phypers had become paranoid about recently purchased potted plants for his workspace, believing they contained listening devices.
The actress recounted that as Phypers’ screaming escalated, a police officer who regularly patrolled the Malibu property’s parking lot approached their door.

After the officer departed, Richards claims Phypers’ rage intensified as he allegedly continued screaming before “using his palm heel to strike me in the eye while calling me a ‘fking b*h.'”
According to Richards, a family member witnessed the alleged assault, which left significant bruising around her left eye.
“The bruising took a month to heal. I had to cancel two professional meetings and rely on a makeup artist – who was aware of the situation – to cover the injury for an unavoidable work obligation,” she stated.
She alleges Phypers insisted she tell others that she had “walked into a piece of his equipment stored on the building’s balcony.”
A judge granted Richards a temporary restraining order against Phypers, effective until August 8, when the estranged couple is scheduled to appear in court.

The order requires Phypers to maintain a 100-yard distance from Richards’ residence, workplace, and vehicle.
Additionally, he must return her laptops and any content downloaded from her phone.
Richards was apparently blindsided by Phypers’ divorce filing. Sources close to the former RHOBH star shared that she felt “completely betrayed.”
