On Tuesday (Sep. 10, 2024) night, after a debate many saw as successful, Kamala Harris finally got Taylor Swift‘s endorsement. Swift shared a photo of herself with a cat, calling Harris a “steady-handed, gifted leader” and signing off as “Taylor Swift, Childless Cat Lady.”
Most people caught her playful jab at J.D. Vance‘s comments about women without children. Then there's Elon Musk, a Trump supporter, who responded with an unsettling remark. “Fine Taylor,” Musk posted on X late Tuesday, “you win…I will give you a child and guard your cats with my life.”
It's not shocking that Musk, father of 12 known children and a vocal advocate against underpopulation, would offer to impregnate a woman who mentions not having kids. The fact he's openly posting such inappropriate comments on his own platform, where content moderation seems lacking? That's just typical for him.
