It has been a challenging endeavor, yet we have dedicated an entire week to meticulously exploring the vast expanse of Instagram to present you with Dino Fetscher, our selection for this week’s Celebrity Instahottie.
If you’ve just finished binge-watching Fool Me Once on Netflix, as millions of people have, then you know Dino Fetscher. He plays Marty McGreggor, a detective and character “who just happens to be a gay person.”
“So much of the focus has been on things like coming out, all those kinds of struggles which are important,” he said. “But it’s nice to see someone happy, a beautiful soul, good at their job, a really great person who just happens to be a gay person or a queer person. I think it’s really important for representation and visibility.”
He also stars on the Apple TV+ sci-fi series Foundation, where he plays Glawen Curr on this intergalactic sci-fi series about humans living under the rule of the Galactic Empire.
In the sophomore season of the hit show, Fetscher’s character reunites with his husband, General Bel Riose (played by Ben Daniels), who thought Glawen was dead.
“It was so refreshing that our characters’ sexualities were just incidental,” the 35-year-old actor told Attitude. “It wasn’t the event; the event was everything we had to accomplish, the conflicts around the empire, our reuniting, and the trauma of everything that happened.”
In 2008, the Welsh actor was crowned Mr. Gay UK, and in 2017, he was nominated as a celebrity rising star at the British LGBT Awards 2017.
