Olivia Rodrigo lands second number 1 song with Good 4 U

Olivia Rodrigo has landed atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week with “good 4 u” for the second time, showing that her breakout single, “drivers license,” was no fluke.

Billboard reports that the song earned 43.2 million on-demand streams in its first week, easily enough to debut at No. 1. She previously debuted atop the chart with “drivers license” earlier this year.

Rodrigo has now only released three proper singles, and all of them have found space inside the top 10 on the Hot 100. After “drivers license” began falling down the Hot 100, Rodrigo returned with “deja vu,” which debuted and peaked at No. 8 on the Hot 100.

Her new album, Sour, dropped last week, and it already has the distinction of being the first debut album to produce two No. 1 hits since Macklemore & Ryan Lewis The Heist in 2012. A female debut album hasn’t done so since Lady Gaga’s The Fame in 2008.

The album is expected to find its way to No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in a week or so after its first full tracking frame has eclipsed.
