George Clooney has reportedly responded with fury to shocking allegations published in the posthumous memoir of Virginia Giuffre, a victim of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The Oscar-winning actor’s representatives have categorically denied claims that connect him to Epstein’s associate Ghislaine Maxwell.
The controversy stems from Giuffre’s recently released memoir, Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, published following her death by suicide in April 2025 at age 41. In the book, Giuffre recounts that Maxwell allegedly boasted about performing a sexual act on the Hollywood star in a bathroom at an unspecified event.
According to the memoir, Maxwell “came back giddy as a schoolgirl with an explosion of news” and claimed “she had given George Clooney a blow job in the bathroom at some random event.” However, Virginia Giuffre herself expressed uncertainty about the veracity of Maxwell’s claim, writing: “whether that was true or not, we’ll never know.”

A representative for George Clooney has now issued a forceful denial on behalf of the actor. Speaking to OK! Magazine, the spokesperson confirmed that Clooney has been “boiling with anger” over the salacious allegation. The representative characterized the claim as a “grotesque fabrication” and emphasized a crucial point: “He has never met Ghislaine Maxwell in his life, and he’s horrified his name has been dragged into this.”
Sources close to the actor have insisted he has maintained “zero involvement” with either Jeffrey Epstein or Ghislaine Maxwell. This assertion appears supported by the absence of any photographic evidence or credible reports placing Clooney at Epstein-related gatherings or events.

The allegation against George Clooney represents just one element of Giuffre’s explosive memoir, which details her harrowing experiences as a teenage victim trafficked by Jeffrey Epstein and Maxwell. The book also contains disturbing accounts involving other high-profile figures, including Prince Andrew, with whom Giuffre settled a civil lawsuit in 2022.
Maxwell, who is currently serving a prison sentence for her role in trafficking young girls for Epstein, allegedly enjoyed bragging about her connections to powerful individuals. Giuffre’s memoir portrays Maxwell as someone who “loved to talk about how easily she could get former president Bill Clinton on the phone.”
Despite the serious nature of these claims, no evidence has emerged connecting George Clooney to the Epstein-Maxwell network. The actor, known for his humanitarian work and political activism, has never been publicly associated with the disgraced financier or his accomplice.

Legal experts note that the allegation appears solely based on Maxwell’s unverified statements to Giuffre, with no additional corroboration. The memoir provides no details about when or where the alleged encounter supposedly occurred, raising questions about the claim’s credibility.
Friends of Clooney have rallied to his defense, emphasizing that while they understand Virginia Giuffre suffered tremendously as a victim of Epstein’s abuse, the specific allegation involving the actor appears to be without foundation.
