The separation of Gisele Bündchen and Tom Brady in 2022 appears to be still causing her significant emotional distress, despite their decision to part ways.
During a preview of her interview with Robin Roberts, Gisele became emotional when questioned about her well-being following the end of their marriage.
Struggling to contain her feelings, Bündchen eventually averted her gaze from the camera and inquired, “May I have a brief moment?”
In October 2022, the couple officially ended their marriage and have since been working together to raise their children, Benjamin (14) and Vivian (11).
According to her, there are some days that are easier than others, and the only thing she can control is her own actions.
After their separation, rumors have been circulating that Gisele is connected to her Jiu-Jitsu instructor, Joaquim Valente.
When questioned about possibly opening her heart to someone else, she appeared to be evasive and simply responded with a noncommittal “Ummm.”
After spending 13 years together, Tom and Gisele surprised the world with the news of their divorce.
Tom stated, “After 13 years of being married, my wife and I have officially completed our divorce process. This mutual decision was made with a sense of peace and appreciation for the years we shared together. Despite our separation, our children, who are our greatest blessings, will remain the focal point of our lives. As co-parents, we are committed to providing them with the utmost love and care they deserve.”
After careful consideration, we have come to the decision to end our marriage,” he stated.
The former NFL player expressed, “It can be a painful and challenging experience, as it is for countless individuals all over the globe who face it on a daily basis. Nevertheless, we only hope for the best for each other as we embark on the next chapters of our lives that have yet to be written.”
In addition, he said, “We respectfully request for privacy and consideration as we navigate the upcoming days and weeks.”
Gisele posted her own statement, expressing, “I am grateful for the time we shared together. Tom and I have peacefully concluded our divorce. My main focus has always been and will remain our children, whom I adore deeply. We will work together to co-parent and provide them with the love, support, and care they truly deserve.”
She concluded by stating, “I would appreciate it if our privacy is respected during this delicate period.”
