The dinner was held at the Frank Gehry-designed Fondation Louis Vuitton in Paris, as the renowned architect revealed his designs for the Les Extraits Collection, featuring five scents in clear bottles capped with a free-form eruption of silver metal. The scents were created by the Maison’s Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier Belletrud.
Delphine Arnault, Louis Vuitton's executive vice president, revealed the collaboration had taken two years and the luxury label's chiefs are thrilled with the results.
“It's like buying a sculpture basically. It's art,” she explained, reports WWD. “He is a genius. We knew he would do something very creative, never seen before, totally new and poetic. The result is amazing.”
