Country artist Ingrid Andress has apologized for her rocky performance of the National Anthem last night at MLBโ€™s annual Home Run Derby, revealing she โ€œwas drunkโ€ and is checking herself into rehab.

โ€œIโ€™m not gonna bullshit yโ€™all, I was drunk last night,โ€ she shared across all of her social media accounts. โ€œIโ€™m checking myself into a facility today to get the help I need. That was not me last night. I apologize to MLB, all the fans, and this country I love so much for that rendition. Iโ€™ll let yโ€™all know how rehab is. I hear itโ€™s super fun.โ€ She signed the post โ€œxo, Ingrid.โ€

Andress received harsh criticism for her performance, her voice wavering almost immediately, with some comparing it to Fergieโ€™s anthem performance during the 2018 NBA All-Star Game.
