The arrival of the holidays brings so many things: gatherings with family and friends, a chill in the air, and the scent of cinnamon and peppermint. If all of that doesn’t put you in a festive mood (and you live in or plan to visit New York City), let Isaac Mizrahi get you in the spirit.
The designer, actor, singer, raconteur, and all-around cultural provocateur returns to Cafe Carlyle, November 23-28 with his acclaimed holiday music extravaganza, A Holiday Fruitcake. Backed by a six-piece jazz band led by pianist Ben Waltzer, Isaac serves up an eclectic evening of holiday favorites, surprising musical discoveries, and his trademark blend of wit, glamour, and mischief.

The music spans generations and genres. The urbane sophistication of Noël Coward. The contemporary cool of Billie Eilish, with plenty of unexpected detours along the way. Part concert, part comedy show, and part holiday party, A Holiday Fruitcake mixes dazzling musicianship with laugh-out-loud stories, sharp cultural commentary, and moments of genuine warmth. A Holiday Fruitcake is a celebration that is equal parts elegant, outrageous, and utterly unforgettable.
Performances run Tuesday through Saturday, November 23-28 (no performance on Thanksgiving, November 26). Tickets are available online via Tock. Café Carlyle is located in The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel (35 East 76th Street, at Madison Avenue).
