Jake Gyllenhaal stole the show Friday (Mar. 03, 2023) – even with controversial fighter Conor McGregor there – at UFC 285 in Las Vegs, Nevada, but it wasn’t to help promote this weekend’s heavyweight title fight between Jon Jones and Ciryl Gane.
The actor and McGregor were there to film for the upcoming reboot of Road House, the 1980s cult classic starring Patrick Swayze.

Gyllenhaal was seen flexing and mugging for the crowd during the ceremonial weigh-in. And he was shredded.

“Who’s ready for tomorrow night”? McGregor asked. “We have the biggest fight in Road House history: Harris vs. Dalton UFC 222. Everyone in this arena you’re about to be part of my movie.”

The scene filmed in multiple takes was a ceremonial weigh-in and faceoff between Gyllenhaal and Jay Hieron, who act as UFC fighters in the film.
