Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck made a glamorous appearance on the red carpet at the premiere of J.Lo's new Amazon original, This Is Me…Now: A Love Story, held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on Tuesday (Feb. 13, 2024).

The duo was spotted posing together for photos, looking every bit in love. Lopez, who self-financed the film with a whopping $20 million, looked stunning in a strapless black gown with a sheer maxi skirt that was adorned with silver detailing of astrological star signs. Affleck, on the other hand, kept it simple yet classy with a black suit and a matching tie on top of a crisp white shirt.

During a conversation with Extra's Terri Seymour, Lopez spoke about how nobody wanted to make the film, but she felt compelled to share the story, which she believed was worthy of being made. The “Love Don't Cost a Thing” hitmaker added that David Meyers, the director of the film, was very open to everything she wanted to share and that he was such a collaborator without an ego that they were able to make something incredible together.

Lopez also revealed that there were times during the project when she questioned herself and wondered why she was doing it again, but she realized that it was part of being an artist. She said that people who get the job done are the ones who do it with fear and that they have to do it afraid, just like she did.

Jennifer said, “There have been many times when you’re going through a project and you’re putting your heart and soul into it, then you kind of question yourself, ‘Why am I doing this again?’… I think that is just part of being an artist, always second guessing yourself and that fear. I think the people who get the thing done are the ones that do it with the fear. You just kind of have to do it afraid, like I say.”

Furthermore, Jennifer talked about sharing a book of private love letters from Ben with her musical collaborators, which we will see play out in her upcoming documentary “The Greatest Love Story Never Told.” She explained how the story was developing, and the behind-the-scenes became something else, and the producers were all inspired by it.
