The Jonas Brothers’ new single “Sucker” blasted on to the Hot 100 songs chart at No. 1, becoming just the thirty-fourth track to open at the top of the listing in its half-century-long history.

In addition to being the Brothers' first No. 1 hit, “Sucker” is just their third top 10 hit.

The group of heartthrobs first reached the uppermost region back in 2008, when their single “Burnin’ Up” rose all the way to No. 5.

The next year, the last single from the same album, Tonight, also broke into the tier, landing at No. 8.

The Jonas Brothers celebrated the news on Instagram posting a video and thanks!

Today’s a big day people. We’re officially celebrating our FIRST EVER #1 on the @billboard Hot 100 plus the first group this CENTURY (and second group EVER) to debut #1 🎉 We can’t thank you guys enough for all the support. We love you guys so much. Also want to give a HUGE thank you to @republicrecords @philymack @ryantedder @frankdukes and the rest of the team for all the hard work and putting everything behind this record. This is just the beginning… 🤗 #SuckerKevin Jonas, Joe Jonas, Nick Jonas of The Jonas Brothers Visit Music Choice on March 01, 2019 in New York City.

I'm guessing the success of “Sucker” is going to accelerate the speed in which they put out more new music and announce that tour.
