Canadian pop star Justin Bieber is partnering with a California-based company to launch a limited edition marijuana product that ties into a song from his most recent album.
The product went on sale starting Monday at certain dispensaries in four states, including NETA’s two locations in Northampton and Brookline Massachusetts.
Bieber’s product, a package of pre-rolled joints and a branded lighter, are named “Peaches” after a song in which he sings, “I got my peaches out in Georgia, I get my weed from California.”
In an emailed statement, Bieber said he hopes his partnership with marijuana company Palms will help to fight common stigma about pot use.

“I’m a fan of Palms and what they are doing by making cannabis approachable and helping to destigmatize it – especially for the many people who find it helpful for their mental health,” Bieber said.
Now 27 years old, Bieber has been open about mental health struggles and drug use.
He’s also far from the first celebrity to test the waters of the cannabis industry. Jay-Z, Martha Stewart and Gwyneth Paltrow are all affiliated with related products.
