It is all in the initials. It looks like Kim Kardashian has decided on a new name for the KKW Beauty brand overhaul.
According to TMZ, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians starâs company filed trademark documents to claim global rights to SKKN which seems to be a new beauty line in the works.
Kim intends to use the new name âon products for hair care, makeup, skin care, nails and other products in the beauty world,â according to documents obtained by TMZ.
Furthermore, the outlet reported that SKKN.com and @SKKN social media handles were claimed by Kardashianâs team back in December 2020.
Kardashian temporarily shut down KKW Beauty in order to focus on a full relaunch, which has nothing to do with her recent split from husband Kanye West.
A source told Page Six that Kardashianâs rebrand âhas nothing to doâ with her divorce or dropping the âWâ from its name â although a new brand name is coming. West even helped his estranged wife with the rebrand.
âFun little fact, Kanye helped come up with the new name,â the insider shared.
âKimâs decision to rebrand has nothing to do with dropping the W in KKW since she has not changed her legal name and still goes by West,â the insider added. âIt has been in the works for awhile, and Kanye actually helped Kim to come up with the new brand name.â
