Lady Gaga fell off the stage after being picked up by a fan during the return of her Enigma residency in Las Vegas on Thursday night (October 17, 2019).

Footage filmed from various angles shows the unidentified fan picking up the pop star and bouncing her around. He then misstepped and they plummeted off the platform to gasps from the audience inside Park MGM’s Park Theater.

Gaga immediately made her way back to the stage alongside the fan, insisting that it was not his fault.

“Everything’s okay,” Gaga said. “We need some stairs by the damn stage so I can get back up.”

After asking the fan if he was okay, Gaga said: “It’s not your fault… That was a fall. Can you promise yourself, can you just forgive yourself right now for that happening?”

Sitting by a piano for her next song, Gaga asked the fan, named Jack, to accompany her.

After learning of how long the fan had admired her, Gaga replied: “11 years and we fucking love each other so much we fall off the damn stage.”

“I’ve fallen off a stage before,” she added. “You know what we did? We fell into each other’s arms, Jack. We’re like Rose and Jack from Titanic.”

After the show, Gaga shared pictures of her post-show recovery routine which will surely help out with any bumps and bruises incurred by the on-stage accident: An ice bath, hot bath and compression suit.
