Lil Nas X is all abs at the iHeart Radio Music Awards 2021

Lil Nas X sexed up the iHeart Radio Red Awards 2021 red carpet wearing an iridescent suit and platform white boots, with his abs on full display.

While on the red carpet, he chatted with Variety‘s Marc Malkin about his pants split while performing on Saturday Night Live.

The wardrobe malfunction happened when Lil Nas X dropped it low on a center-stage pole while singing “Montero (Call Me By Your Name).”

“I was quite terrified, but I was like, ‘The show must go on… I hope my goodies aren’t on TV right now,'” he confessed.

“I think they’re still in New York being shipped here,” he said of the pants’ whereabouts. “We have to put them in a museum one day.”

During Thursday's (May 27, 2021) iHeartRadio Music Awards 2021, Elton John received the Icon Award from Lil Nas X and Chris Martin.

Lil Nas X said of John when presenting him the award, “Elton John has been called many things. Reggie, Rocket Man, Pinball Wizard, Sir Elton. To me, he's a trailblazer who paved the way for others to live their lives freely and unapologetically,” Lil Nas X said. “He's inspired me and so many other people by being himself, and being larger than life, flashy and fearless, especially when he's in front of that piano.”

“Elton on behalf of all the people around the world who you have inspired, thank you,” he added. “Even if you didn't mean to be a role model, you are.”

John used his speech to talk about young artists as he praised Lil Nas X.

The Rocketman then had some special words for Lil Nas X, who presented him the award. “I just want to say a special thanks to Lil Nas X, because he is a wonderful artist and has balls of steel!” John said to the cheering crowd.
