TikTok’s “Hullo” Mason Hull Arrested: Looksmaxxing Influencer Faces 15 Child Pornography Charges After Girlfriend Alerts Police

Mason Hull, the Florida-based TikTok personality known online as “Hullo” who built a devoted following around the controversial practice of looksmaxxing, has been arrested and charged with 15 counts of possessing child sexual abuse material (CSAM). He is 18 years old.

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Hull was taken into custody on May 6, 2026, in Sarasota, Florida. The arrest marked a swift and disturbing fall for one of the more prominent young voices in the looksmaxxing space.

The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office confirmed in a press release that a signed arrest warrant charged Hull with “15 counts of possession of child sexual abuse material following the forensic examination of his mobile phone.” According to police, “This device contained images and videos depicting female children between the ages of 8 and 15 years old.”

The investigation was set in motion not by law enforcement surveillance, but by someone much closer to Hull.

On April 30, Hull’s ex-girlfriend provided Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office deputies with photos of Hull’s chat messages on the app Telegram, where he allegedly discussed payment for child pornography. The ex-girlfriend, who had been in a romantic relationship with Hull for roughly eight months, told deputies that she had suspected that he had been cheating on her, and she had searched through his phone while he was asleep, where she discovered the messages.

What she found went far beyond infidelity.

She told investigators that she saw links, photos, and videos within the chats that contained child porn. The ex-girlfriend took photos of some of the messages using her own phone and showed the images to detectives.

When investigators initially spoke with Hull, his explanation was as alarming as the alleged crime itself.

Detectives said Hull told them that he had used the Telegram app to access child porn because he recently decided to “try something new” and sought out pornography that was taboo. When detectives asked Hull about the ages of the children in the images and videos, he said they were between 8 and 15 years old.

Deputies seized Hull’s device at the conclusion of that interview and moved quickly to obtain a search warrant. After the phone was examined by forensic experts, who confirmed CSAM was present, investigators contacted Hull to arrange a follow-up interview. He called SCSO later in the day to say that he would not be meeting with deputies as planned.

Law enforcement didn’t wait long.

“Members of the Tactical Unit (TAC) located Hull in the parking lot of his residence later that day and took him into custody,” according to the sheriff’s office release.

At his first court appearance, a judge set his bond at $7,500 per charge, totaling $112,500. If Hull is released on bond, a judge ordered him to stay off social media and forbid him from accessing the internet, having contact with minors, or visiting locations frequented by children. He is due back in court for arraignment on June 5.

An attorney for Hull declined to comment.

Hull had amassed a significant digital footprint before his arrest. Hull had more than 350,000 followers on TikTok, although his account has been made private since his arrest. His content was primarily part of the “looksmaxxing” subculture, a community of mostly young men who set out to improve their physical appearance, sometimes through extreme measures. According to his Instagram, which has also gone private, the Florida resident aims to “maximize people’s potential.”

Looksmaxxing is a practice that ranges in intensity from everyday skincare to cosmetic surgery and is primarily used by young men. Hull monetized that audience, offering paid services to young male followers seeking guidance on appearance improvement.

Because of Hull’s “significant social media presence,” the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information on this investigation to contact the Investigations Bureau at 941-861-4900.

On March 31, 2026, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed House Bill 1159, strengthening protections for children and expanding criminal offenses related to child sexual abuse material. Crimes classified as first-degree felonies carry a minimum sentence of 15 years in prison, while second-degree felony convictions carry a minimum five-year prison term.
