In a wild twist of events, the mother of actor Max Ehrich has come forward to deny allegations that her son assaulted her, despite his recent arrest on domestic violence charges. The shocking revelation has left many questioning what really happened during the disturbing incident that led to his arrest in Florida.
Max Ehrich, the 34-year-old actor best known for his role on The Young and the Restless, was arrested on battery charges involving a person 65 or older. However, his mom, Rhonda Ehrich, is now publicly refuting the allegations that painted her son as an attacker.

Taking to Instagram, Rhonda made a bold statement that left followers stunned. “The media and the narrative of my son attacking me is completely fabricated,” she wrote. The shocking denial comes after police reports suggested a violent altercation between mother and son.
According to initial reports, the mom had told cops they got into an argument over her phone and that Max “chased her outside into her neighbor’s backyard, pushed her to the ground and kicked her in the thigh.” Yet, Rhonda now claims these accounts have been twisted beyond recognition.

Instead, she offered an astonishing explanation that has raised eyebrows across social media. “The only villain in this is the fact that my son was kidnapped and forced to ingest a dangerous substance,” Rhonda stated in her Instagram post. The claim that Max Ehrich was kidnapped and forced to take drugs is bewildering.
Rhonda passionately defended her son’s character, stating, “My son is my best friend and one of the best people I know. My son lives a clean, healthy and sober lifestyle.” She went on to describe how she watched substance abuse take control of his life after the alleged kidnapping.
Meanwhile, Max has entered rehab and is receiving treatment. His mom emphasized that he is “devastated” by the public nature of his struggles. The family is now requesting privacy during this difficult time.
Interestingly, Max was engaged to pop star Demi Lovato for a couple of months back in 2020, after four months of dating, though they called off their engagement by September of that year.
The situation remains unclear as authorities continue their investigation. Rhonda has announced she is pursuing all legal avenues to clear her son’s name, calling the public reports defamatory and harmful to her family.
