The pair sent the internet into a frenzy with a particularly sizzling appearance at the Venice Film Festival, where they were promoting their new TV series, Scenes From A Marriage, which is set to debut on HBO Max next week.
If there’s any doubt the pair will have electric on-screen chemistry, those doubts are dead and buried now, especially after that almost animalistic display. Who knew black tie could be so primal?

In the video, Chastain puts her arm around Isaac’s shoulder. He looks at her… with a look that simply cannot be described with words, strokes her arm and leans into it.
Posted to Twitter, the video has already clocked more than eight million views at the time of writing and the reactions are, well, let’s just say the internet is collectively blushing.
The duo met over 20 years ago as Julliard classmates and have stayed friends since, per Deadline. They also starred together in the 2014 crime drama A Most Violent Year.
