Last week on episode two of Drag Race Down Under vs The World, it was revealed that season 2 queen-testant and Emmy Award-winning makeup artist Raven was indeed, not competing for the crown but (as so many correctly assumed) was going to be on the judges’ panel.
And if that wasn’t enough of a gut punch, we also lost the true star of the season, the iconic Nicole Paige Brooks from Atlanta, Georgia. I can’t help but be a teeny bit partial to NPB, as I have seen her many times here in Atlanta (and she is a pure delight), but I think a lot of my fellow drag fans were cutting onions when she bid adieu to the werk room.
So, to pay a small tribute to this queen among queens, here’s a double dose of NPB. First off, she has her DRDU “exit interview’ with Lazy Susan on “Hey Boo” and then dishes on the remaining queens from behind the week room’s two -way mirror on “Two-Faced”. Don’t worry if you are pressed for time, this whole affair will only take about four minutes of your time (really, World of Wonder? Onya chatted with the eliminated queens for longer; why aren’t these queens getting the same consideration?
