The Drag Race fandom is still shook after the elimination of Jane Don’t after last week’s improv challenge and “Wholesome to Folsom” runway, but this Seattle-based queen has proven that she’s got charisma, uniqueness nerve and talent in spades.
On Whatcha Packin? Jane shares tales of her early drag days in the Pacific Northwest with Bosco and talks about how she kicked off the season going pedal to the metal until the challenge that sent her home. This Pisces queen who definitely has the smarts also talks about how she developed her keen sense of humor and where she got her inspiration and references from (being raised partially by her chorus girl Grandma didn’t hurt.)
She also describes the feeling of having a target on her back throughout the competition, why the Rusical was her favorite challenge and whether or not she is a good auditioner. We also look back on some of her greatest runway hits, including the infamous mouth gown that was a nod to a moment on Carol Burnett’s show (as designed by the legendary Bob Mackie.)
Then, on Hello Hello Hello, Jane shares her reaction to getting the call and takes a look back at her (frankly awesome) audition tape with Onya Nurve – complete with a faux PSA and testimonials from Nymphia Wind and Sasha Colby. She also reveals fellow Seattle queen Bosco‘s love of beer and in responding to some quick fire questions, tells us who she thinks was season 18’s biggest flirt, who had the best entrance look and who was her biggest competition.
We’ll miss Jane, but I’m sure her slot in a future All Stars season has already been cemented.
