Forget about The Mandalorian and Grogu and Supergirl, the popcorn flick that the summer has been waiting for is almost here. STOP! THAT! TRAIN! follows best friends Tess (Ginger Minj) and DeeDee (Jujubee), two fed-up train stewardesses who ditch their dead-end gigs aboard the grimy Stank Rail for a glamorous new life on the luxurious Glamazonian Express.
But when a catastrophic “Stormaganza” threatens to send the high-speed train barreling straight into Los Angeles, the coach-class duo must team up with a trio of snooty first-class attendants (Symone, Brooke Lynn Hytes, and Marcia Marcia Marcia) – plus President Gagwell (RuPaul) – to save the day. Packed with camp, chaos, and comedy, the film also features appearances by Rachel Bloom, Joel McHale (in a leather harness…rowr…), Matt Rogers and a bunch of Ru girls (I spotted Latrice Royale and Monét X Change).
