Season eight winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, the super talented Jimbo, is about to embark on her new tour across the US and Canada, Jimbo’s Drag Circus. Hailed as “The Weirdest Show On Earth”, this one queen show features the many outrageous characters of Jimbo’s twisted imagination along with new music, dancing and more. Of the tour, Jimbo promises “a wild ride of fun, laughs, looks and kooky Drag Fun!” She adds, “It’s been my longtime dream to create my own show and I can’t wait to tour around North America, doing what I love to do most…making people laugh! Bring your friends and save room for boloney!

We put Jimbo in the hot seat to find out more about her as she answers the Socialite Seven.

Who has had the biggest influence on your career and why?
Well, I would have to say RuPaul, of course, because RuPaul gave me the platform but also really shone a light into a community that I didn't really have before when I was an artist kind of doing my own thing. I didn't really have a big drag community and I didn't really have a big artist community where I saw myself as a drag artist and so Drag Race really allows people to see bits of themselves on TV and, and there's stories that resonate with so many people. And so I think RuPaul has changed my life and I know that I've changed other lives in that way that we be able to connect.

What is your biggest pet peeve?
I would say my biggest pet peeve is…maybe littering and pollution.

What is something that would surprise your fans?
Something that would surprise my fans is maybe that I'm a stepparent. My partner Brady has two teenage children and so I have two teenage kids that I love. So, yeah, I'm a little bit of a stepmom.

If they made a movie of your life, who would you want to play you?
A movie of my life to play me? I would want it to be…umm…let's see…who's so cute and sexy? I have no idea who I want it to be. I'm so bad with names. I don't know. Who would you think?

Well, out of drag, you always reminded me of John Cameron Mitchell, who I adore to pieces.
Oh, I love that! Well, yeah, John Cameron Mitchell. Good answer.

What superpower or talent would you like to wake up with tomorrow?
Oh my God. Well, of course I want to be the most amazing dancer on earth. I would love to be a little gymnast and do 10,000 backflips and just be splitting my kitty all around town and be able to do dips and flips and all of that. But, you know, when you can't dance, you have to learn how to be funny and do all kinds of other wacky things. So, I'm grateful that I've had to learn to express myself in other ways – but I have been working on my dancing and I will be dancing the night away on my show, Jimbo's Drag Circus, every night.

What are three things you can't live without?
Three things I can't live without are tasty food, beautiful sparkly things, and love and sex.

What is the best piece of advice you've been given?
The best piece of advice I've been given is to have the best time and others will follow. My mom always just said Growing up, I felt like a loner. I felt like I had no talents. I felt just, you know, just kind of lost in a lot of ways. And my mom just said, you know what, hun, you have the best time and others will join you and you'll have the best time with them. And that really led me to really try to create parties and events and fun and joy and those that really cultivated community and brought all kinds of artists and those artists brought new ideas and ways to collaborate and things.

I think that has really changed my life…really being open to other people and to try to create environments and places where people feel welcome and have fun and express themselves.
