Teresa Giudice and Joe Giudice accused each other of cheating during their intense interview with Andy Cohen on Sunday night (October 27, 2019), and it is unclear if he’ll ever be allowed to return to the United States.
During the Bravo special The Real Housewives of New Jersey Special Event: Joe and Teresa Unlocked, the couple candidly discuss their suspicions that they each cheated on their incarcerated partner.
When asked by host Andy Cohen if he was faithful to Teresa while she served time for fraud, Joe responded, “I was, actually, yeah.” He doubts, however, that she was faithful to him during his time behind bars, partially because of photos taken of Teresa out with other men while Joe was still locked up.
“You were photographed with women also,” Teresa reminded her husband, to which he responded, “That’s why I made it OK for you.”
Teresa also believes Joe broke their marital vows but did say she’s “happy he’s free” through tears. Joe was recently sent to his home country of Italy to await a verdict in his current immigration case.
“Those don’t seem like happy tears,” Cohen, 51, tells her. “This relationship kind of feels like you’re speaking about it in the past.”
As for the couple's four daughters, Teresa says she thinks they will be OK with whatever happens as long as their father is out of prison.
“I think they get it,” Teresa said, referring to why she and Joe might get a divorce. “I mean, I don't think they want to see it happen, obviously. But they understand.”
“She needs to find somebody with a lot of money,” Joe later quipped. “She needs to not date these little young guys who have no money… her way of living isn't cheap. She's high maintenance.”
As for the way they've both grown, Teresa said that she and Joe have changed a lot since the start of their legal nightmare.
“I've been on my own now for three years and seven months and we're both two different people,” she shared. “I'm not the same Teresa I was and I know he's not the same Joe.”
