The Bear Season 3 Trailer: Everyone’s Still Super Stressed Out

2 Min Read

In the third season of The Bear, expectations are higher than ever, as showcased in the fast-paced first trailer for the upcoming season. All 10 episodes of the FX series will premiere on June 27 on Hulu.

โ€œIf itโ€™s not perfect, it doesnโ€™t go out,โ€ says Carmy (played by Jeremy Allen White) in the trailer released on Wednesday.

Season 2 ended with the main charactersโ€”Carmy, Sydney (Ayo Edebiri), Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), Marcus (Lionel Boyce), Tina (Liza Colรณn-Zayas), and Sugar (Abby Elliott)โ€”achieving the difficult task of transforming their sandwich shop, The Beef, into the upscale restaurant, The Bear. After a hectic soft opening night, the restaurantโ€™s initial launch was a success. Now, the real challenge begins. In the competitive restaurant industry, this means dealing with endless stress as the team works to make The Bear both successful and profitable.

In the trailer, Carmy outlines his โ€œnon-negotiablesโ€ for his staffโ€”a set of standards followed by top-tier restaurants. His list includes directives like โ€œpush boundaries,โ€ โ€œconstantly evolve creativity,โ€ and โ€œvibrant collaboration.โ€

The trailer also provides a sneak peek into whatโ€™s coming this season. It shows Carmy offering Sydney an official partnership agreement, confidently claiming that The Bear is going to earn โ€œa star,โ€ and Neil (Matty Matheson) worrying about food critics. However, while the remodel might attract new customers, it doesnโ€™t guarantee the restaurantโ€™s financial stability.
