Hello, hello, hello! Welcome to another edition of the Week in Drag, bringing you the finest content from the queens and updates on all things RuPaul’s Drag Race.
With the Labor Day holiday, it’s been a short week and we’ve got a short but sweet collection of videos for you to get your week off to a fierce start. And, without further ado, let’s bring it to the runway!
We all know that Bob the Drag Queen is one of the funniest around. Her comic chops helped her snatch the crown in season eight and she’s been flexing those humorous muscles ever since. Need proof? Check out her comedy special Woke Man in a Dress and get ready to laugh and laugh and laugh (I mean, it’s super funny.)
I love Thorgy Thor and she always brings her sparkling personality and sense of humor to the runway every time. She is the latest guest on Very Delta and she and Delta talk condiments (you get her mustard queen origin story) and so much more – and I always love to watch Delta go off. Check it out.
Do blondes have more fun? It certainly looks like Trixie and Katya do on every episode of “UNHhhh.” This week’s topic is fun, and the pair discuss trampolines, gymnastics and what you would do for Henry Cavill. They also answer fan questions about dragging up the workplace and fun activities for a lesbian date.
Juno Birch and Trixie Mattel are together again. This time, they get to apply makeup together as a make-up (get it?) for when Trixie had COVID and Jennifer Coolidge was sitting in with Juno. If you love makeup artistry, this one’s a must-see.
I don’t know about you, but I can’t get enough of Willam and Ongina and luckily for me, they are back again, exploring more of Ongina’s drag closet in part two of “Lifestyles of the Bitch and Gaymous.”
You know what they say, what happens in Vegas gets a beatdown from Willam. She’s back showing the seedy side of Sin City, along with the sad tale of a lady who needs a kabob real bad and an update from the “sissy of Fremont Street.”
The Max series We’re Here will make you think and definitely make you cry – but it’s an amazing watch. Season four is on the way, and this week it was announced that the large and in charge Latrice Royale will join Sasha Velour, Priyanka, and Jaida Essence Hall to try to change lives and minds in towns across the country. I can’t wait for this new season.
Drag Race UK’s Black Peppa chats with Mo Heart about her Drag Race experience and the aftermath of “Life After the Race”.
Another stunning queen from an international franchise, Kween Kong from season two of Drag Race Down Under gives good interview, so check this one out with Matt from Drag Tea.
Heading back to simpler times in the Drag Race universe, Bob and Monét take us back to the season one MAC Viva Glam challenge (which brought us the most emotional moment of the season, courtesy of Ongina) on “Sibling Watchery.”
The dancing diva herself, Kennedy Davenport, is the latest guest on Maddy Morphosis’ super talk show “Give it to Me Straight.”
And that does it for this week, until we meet same time next week, stay healthy, stay safe, support the queens and say LOVE!
