Hello, hello, hello! We’re back with news ad updates from the week in drag to entertain you as you recuperate from Turkey Day.
We’ve got a first look at RuPaul’s new holiday movie, and we welcome a new queen into the realm of Drag Race royalty as Drag Race UK crowns its third champion.
We’ve also got new music from one of the sweetest queens, Katya and Jinkx watch Tiger King 2 so you don’t have to (no, really) and we catch up Jackie Cox and Atlanta’s own Phoenix. Put down that leftover turkey sandwich and bring it to the runway!
It seems like we just crowned season 13’s champion and we are about to meet the queens competing to join Symone in the Drag Race Hall of Fame. The Ru-veal of the new queens is coming on December 2 on VH-1. Also arriving on December 2 is Ru’s new holiday movie, The Bitch Who Stole Christmas. A galaxy of queens joins Mama Ru in this soon-to-be new holiday tradition, including Ginger Minj, Brooke Lynn Hytes, Peppermint, Jan Sport, Jaymes Mansfield, Latrice Royale, Gottmik, Morgan McMichaels, Porkchop, Chad Michaels, Heidi N Closet, Kelly Mantle, Kimora Blac, Laganja Estranja, Manila Luzon, Mayhem Miller, Pandora Boxx, Raven, Rock M. Sakura, and Kylie Sonique Love. Watch the teaser and tune into VH-1 on Thursday to see all of the slay belles.
Thursday is going to be a big night for drag fans, as it also marks the world premiere of Paramount+’s new drag queen singing competition, Queen of the Universe. Jujubee, Ada Vox and Gingzilla are among the queens from around the world proving they’ve got the pipes to be the fiercest singer. Get a sneak peek of these talented queen-testants as they sing their national anthems.
*SPOILER* This week, Drag Race UK crowned its third champion. “Binge Queens”, Pandora Boxx, Rock M Sakura, Heidi N Closet, Kylie Sonique Love, Laganja Estranja and the gift that keeps on giving, Scott Nevins take us through the Christmas challenge, the runway looks of the top three (and the returning queens) and react to this season’s winner on the latest “Binge Queens”. Check out this sneak peek and get full episodes on WOW Presents Plus.
The top three react to the most iconic moments of the season (and there were a bunch) in this video from Grazia.
The top three made the rounds before the finale. Krystal Versace and Ella Vaday chat with Tia Kofi on “Tea Time.”
Kitty Scott-Claus and Ella Vaday dish with Yshee Black and bequeath superlatives on their fellow queen-testants on “Drag Race Yearbook.”
The queens of Drag Race UK season three voted on Miss Congeniality, and, surprisingly, it was the series’ first eliminated queen, Anubis. Check out her reaction here.
Bob the Drag Queen and Monét X Change discuss the roast challenge and runway looks of the UK’s final four on “Sibling Watchery”.
Denali and Cheryl Hole toot and boot the final four queens’ “Oh My Goddess” fashions on “Fashion Photo Ruview.”
Yuhua Hamasaki is rolling solo on this week’s “Bootleg Opinions.” Check out her take on the final four’s runway looks.
She made a gorgeous goddess, but Vanity Milan sadly didn’t make it to the Drag Race UK finale. She talks about her experience on the show with UK season one’s amazing Crystal on “Tea Time.”
Vanity also talks to Yshee Black on “Drag Race Yearbook.”
The second season of the inexplicably popular reality series Tiger King recently arrived on Netflix. Katya and Jinkx Monsoon watch and react to the ongoing adventures of Joe Exotic and the gang on the latest “I Like to Watch.” Do yourself a favor – just watch this and skip the whole series. You’ll thank me later.
Halloween may already be a distant memory, but let’s take one last look back at the spookiest of holidays with Trixie and Katya on the latest “UNHhhh”.
Trixie takes a break from playing with toys and does one of the things she does best – makeup. Watch as she gets ready, chats and tries out new makeup from Wet n Wild, KVD Beauty, Maybelline and more.
Honey Davenport is back with a fierce new song. She collaborates with Manila Luzon and Electropoint on “Love is God.” The song is the first release from an upcoming EP and visual album of the same name, coming in 2022.
NYC queen Jackie Cox takes us on a tour of her drag room in the latest “Out of the Closet”
Season three queen Phoenix wasn’t on the show too long, but she did give us one of the most iconic premiere moments when she and India Ferrah sported similar entrance looks. This Atlanta-based queen has kept quite busy since she sashayed away and she talks about that, as well as her road to Drag Race, with (my fellow Georgia State alum) Joseph Shepherd on the latest “Exposed.”
Gottmik’s season 13 audition tape goes under the microscope, as she and Violet Chachki react to it on the latest episode of “No Gorge.”
Need some holiday shopping ideas? Willam is here to help, as he unboxes some crave-able makeup, accessories and more.
Jaymes Mansfield performs another amazing wig restoration for her fellow Vegs-based queen Coco Montrese and I want this wig so much.
Rock M Sakura and Dragula’s Hoso Terra Toma compare Korean and American snacks. Do not watch this when you’re hungry.
And that wraps it up for this post-Thanksgiving wrap up. To get you into the holiday spirit, we’ll leave you with the top three from Drag Race UK teaming with Mama Ru for “Hey Sis, It’s Christmas”. Until we meet again, stay healthy, stay safe and say LOVE!
