Hello, hello, hello! We are back again, as we are every week, with the latest from the queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Things may be a little quiet on the US Drag Race front (especially with summer winding down), but we’ve got some great content to keep you entertained while we all wait for season 16 and All-Stars season 9. We get in-depth with the queens in some engrossing interviews and get laughs from Trixie and Katya.
We also catch up with two All Stars 8 queens and return to where it all began with Bob and Monét. Let’s get to it, and let’s bring it to the runway!
This week, we were treated to some amazing in-depth interviews with drag icons and your favorite performers. My interviewing idol, Joseph Shepherd, had Jiggly Caliente in the hot seat for his latest “Exposed” interview, and much tea was spilled.
If there was a “Drag Mount Rushmore,” Lady Bunny would most definitely be represented. The legendary queen was Delta Work’s guest on this week’s episode of “Very Delta.”
Courtney Act filled in for Trixie and chatted with Katya on her podcast “The Bald and The Beautiful.”
The stunning Mariah Paris Balenciaga (showcasing products from Mo Beauty) talked about her life and career after slaying on Drag Race with the equally stunning Mo Heart on “Life After the Race.”
Maddy Morphosis sat down with the blessed and highly favored Heidi N Closet on “Give it to Me Straight.”
Monét X Change has got a great set of pipes and has treated us to some fierce bops over the years. She shares the musical highlights on “Bodyody of Work.”
I could listen to Bob and Peppermint discussing anything for hours and hours on end, and this discussion is no different.
Peppermint joins Bob again, this time talking all things reality TV and the recent accusations against Lizzo with Bob and Monét on “Sibling Rivalry.”
Bob and Monét take us back once again to season one as the OG queens channel their inner Oprah on “Sibling Watchery.”
Is there anything Trixie Mattel doesn’t do? She’s a makeup maven, singer, comedian and even a DJ. In this GRWM video, she talks about the spinning life and working with Aqua.
Okay, so maybe Trixie isn’t a model…yet..? She and Katya talk about the runway, America’s Next Top Model and the importance of choosing appropriate entrance music on the latest episode of “UNHhhh.”
If you love theater and you love Willam, have I got news for you. The Race Chaser co-host and Beatdown-er extraordinaire is taking the stage in the off-Broadway production of Titanique, a musical send-up of the blockbuster film featuring the music of Celine Dion. Willam will take over the role of “Victor Garber” beginning Tuesday, September 5. The show is playing at the Daryl Roth Theatre, and you can get tickets here.
Let’s catch up with Jaymes Mansfield! She takes us on the road as she travels from San Fran to Cincinnati.
And here’s Jaymes doing what she does best: creating a new wig. These videos are like visual ASMR for me.
That’s it for this week. See you soon with more drag news. Until we meet again, stay healthy, stay safe, support the queens and say LOVE!
