Tom Brady‘s representatives have finally broken their silence about whispers linking the former NFL superstar to actress Sofia Vergara. On Thursday, People revealed that Brady, 47, “never said” that the Modern Family bombshell, who’s 53, was “too old” for him, shutting down a Daily Mail report that suggested otherwise.
“Tom never said, nor would he ever say, anything like this. It is pure fiction,” Brady’s representative told People.
The dating buzz kicked off after the pair were caught dining together on Ritz-Carlton’s swanky new luxury yacht. The star-studded cruise included A-listers like Kate Hudson, Naomi Campbell, and Colman Domingo during its two-day maiden voyage.
Vergara shared some snaps from the getaway on Instagram, including one where she’s cozied up next to Brady.
“What a perfect weekend full of surprises! ❤️ gracias!,” she captioned the July 1 carousel.
The actress recently got candid about single life on the Today show. During her chat with host Jenna Bush Hager, Vergara dished on her dating wishlist. She was previously married to actor Joe Manganiello from 2015 to 2024.
“I want to say the basic stuff, like health and somebody that loves me,” Vergara said of her dream man. “And somebody tall, handsome. I want somebody that has as much money as me or more, because if not, it’s a nightmare. They end up resenting you.”
